Many SMEs have an IT project behind them that cost more than planned or was never quite finished. Usually the cause was not technology but unclear scope and a lack of steering.
That is why we work with a fixed structure: a fixed-price discovery phase, stages with a cost ceiling and sign-off, and a written process for changes. Every project has a project lead who is responsible for scope, budget and schedule from the first conversation to operations.
