E-commerce
B2B shops and ordering portals that work together with your ERP.
We build shops for businesses whose sales do not fit a standard template: customer-specific prices, configurable products, approvals, reorders from the order archive. The shop is connected to the ERP and warehouse, so orders reach the system without retyping.
Typical triggers
Typical triggers
Clients get in touch when one of these situations arises.
- 01Regular customers order by email and phone, and sales support types the orders in.
- 02Every customer has their own prices and terms, which the existing shop does not know.
- 03Products have to be configured or ordered with print files.
- 04A key account requires an ordering portal or an electronic connection.

Frequently asked questions
Medusa, Shopify or WooCommerce: which do you recommend?
For a shop with standard products and standard prices, Shopify or WooCommerce is enough. We recommend Medusa when customer-specific prices, configurable products, approval processes or a close ERP integration are required. We make the decision in the discovery phase, based on your requirements.
Are stock levels and prices synchronised in real time?
Where it pays off. Orders and availability usually sync within seconds, master data and prices at intervals. What matters is what your ERP allows and where delays cost money.
What happens if the ERP is unavailable?
The shop keeps selling. Orders are held in a queue and delivered as soon as the ERP responds again. Failed transfers show up in monitoring and trigger an alert.
What is the discovery phase and why does it come first?
In two to three weeks, the discovery phase establishes what will be built, how it fits into your systems and what it will cost. You receive requirements, a solution design, a stage plan and a cost ceiling. The price is fixed, usually CHF 4,000 to 9,000. After that you are free to decide whether to go ahead, and with whom.
