Custom software

Business applications that fit your process instead of bending it.

We build web and line-of-business applications for processes that no standard product covers properly: order processing, planning, internal tools, industry-specific solutions. You get software that fits your system landscape, belongs to you and can be maintained for years.

Typical triggers

Typical triggers

Clients get in touch when one of these situations arises.

  • 01An Excel or FileMaker solution has grown over the years and depends on one person.
  • 02Data is entered twice in two or three systems.
  • 03The ERP covers the core process, but not what makes your business distinctive.
  • 04You want to grow without adding administration.

Custom software

What you get

  • Discovery phase with cost ceiling

Requirements, solution design, stage plan and a binding cost framework. Fixed price, within two to three weeks.

  • Made-to-measure application

Web interface, business logic and database, tailored to the roles and processes in your business.

  • Integration with your systems

ERP, accounting, bank, email and archive are connected so that nothing is entered twice.

  • Migration and rollout

Existing data is cleaned up and migrated, your team is trained and the switch-over is planned.

  • Documentation and handover

Source code, architecture description and operations manual are in your hands. Another team can take over.

  • Operations and further development

Hosting in the EEA, monitoring, updates and agreed response times, if you want them.

Frequently asked questions

What is the discovery phase and why does it come first?

In two to three weeks, the discovery phase establishes what will be built, how it fits into your systems and what it will cost. You receive requirements, a solution design, a stage plan and a cost ceiling. The price is fixed, usually CHF 4,000 to 9,000. After that you are free to decide whether to go ahead, and with whom.

Who holds the rights to the code and the data?

The data is yours. The source code is kept in a repository you have access to, and the usage rights to it pass to you once the work is paid in full. We rely on widely used technologies such as Next.js, C# and PostgreSQL, so that another team can take the software forward if needed.

What happens if our requirements change during the project?

Changes are normal and planned for. New requests go onto a shared list and are estimated. You decide whether an item joins the current stage, is swapped for something else or moves to the next phase. That is how the cost ceiling stays binding.

Can you take over existing software and develop it further?

Yes, after a short review. We look at the code, the data model and how it is operated, and tell you candidly whether further development makes sense or a gradual replacement would cost less. The review takes a few days and is charged at a fixed price.

Who runs the software after go-live?

We do, if you wish. A maintenance contract covers hosting in the EEA, monitoring, security updates, backups and agreed response times. The usual figure is 15 to 20% of the project cost per year. You can also run the software on your own infrastructure or hand it to your IT partner.
